Episode 33: Krista Morgan – P2Binvestor

Krista Morgan is cofounder and CEO of P2Binvestor, a marketplace lender that helps entrepreneurs and innovators transform their companies from sector newcomers to industry leaders. P2Bi partners with banks and investors, while also offering a robust crowdfunding platform, to provide affordable, flexible capital that evolves with business growth. Krista has quickly grown P2Bi into a multimillion-dollar company, a thriving online marketplace, and one of the few tech-enabled commercial lenders that can underwrite and fund million-dollar lines of credit in a few days.

In addition, Krista is a sponsor and cohost of the popular podcast, Women Who Startup Radio, a networking and learning platform for female entrepreneurs and innovators globally. Season Three of the influential podcast includes an interview with Impact Finance Center’s CO Impact Days participant Wendi Burkhardt, founder of Silvernest, as well as numerous other successful women building robust businesses and social ventures.

Krista’s combined investment and technology expertise and commitment to supporting female innovators and entrepreneurs are tremendous assets to the Impact Finance Center team. She is also helping to guide strategy in the launch of IFC’s online courses for the new Impact Investing Education Institute.

Prior to launching her own business, Krista spent more than five years as a Digital Account Director for Sapient and Story Worldwide, where she worked on such high-profile accounts as Coca Cola, Energy Saving Trust, and Johnson & Johnson.

With a BA in Economics and Political Science from McGill University, Krista is now an industry leader who writes and speaks regularly on such topics as business finance, scaling start-ups, and diversity in teams.
